Oubliette is a shareware database that is easy to use, fully functional and secure. It allows the creation of account lists with information like account name, password, notes, URL and the like. Easy accesses to information, copy to clipboard or conversion to other formats are some of its important features. It also has a search option which filtered outputs satisfying the criteria obtained. This application has various options to transfer names and passwords from clipboard or drag and drop to the browser.
This software uses strong ciphers making it very secure and protecting it from unauthorized users. A password manager is used to store secret information like credit card numbers, passwords, and the user just needs to remember one password and all the rest is available in it.
However, it’s important that the user does not forget the main Oubliette password without which it is not possible to open any file.
This software has an option for the user to choose between the strong encryption algorithms, like Blow-fish or Idea, and also has a full source code available which the user can inspect or edit to create his own version. Once the software is installed, it is important to read the readme.txt file that has the necessary information and lists of files/documents that will be useful while using the software, along with a help file.
